Sante Restaurant & Charcuterie

Special Edition Newsletter

Greetings and welcome supporters of all things naturally raised, local, and sustainable!  Sante is on board with promoting the slow food movement; not only is it a way of life, but it is also a commitment to our community...

  • One of the fundamental principles of slow food lies in a 'recognition of     the strong connections between plate and planet.' This connection creates  an awareness and respect for what is eaten, and is a surefire way to bring out flavors and increase overall satisfaction.
  • Maintains relations with farmers, making sure they are compensated for their work and providing feedback from both sides of the transaction.
  • Participation in the slow food movement benefits the environment and overall health, eliminating pesticides and worries over tainted food.
  • Here are a few local farmers we have partnered with, all are available on our current menus:
-naturally raised berkshire pork and free-range eggs
provided by Rocky Ridge Ranch.

-Vegetables from Green Wave and Jackson Farms.

-Locally raised beef produced by Bigelow Gulch Farm.

-Organic tofu from Small Planet Tofu.
